“There’s No Place for Us” A MUST READ

It’s pretty intense that county housing authorities are posting about this. It’s official. “Hard work is no longer enough to keep a roof over one’s head.” Brian Goldstone’s book, “There’s No Place For Us: Working and Homeless in America” is a must read. It has the data to back up the anecdotes, but it’s not a wonky book. He follows five families through their trials and tribulations of trying to find housing while working and juggling kids and child care responsibilities in Atlanta, and what that has to teach all of us. https://www.usatoday.com/booklist/books/there-is-no-place-for-us-working-and-homeless-in-america/9780593237144/2025-04-09
